Brandy Gleason started her three-year term as an At-Large member of the Ohio Travel Association (OTA) board at the Ohio Conference on Travel in Toledo on Oct. 4.
“I am excited to serve the organization as it seeks to increase prosperity for Ohio’s travel industry,” Gleason said. “Attracting people to visit Ohio’s destinations spreads wealth throughout the state’s economy.”
OTA advocates for the tourism industry with federal and state governments. The organization connects travel partners and provides helpful information, including market research, funding, and promotional opportunities. Working together makes Ohio tourism stronger.
Gleason is the Chief Executive Officer of Gleason Media, LLC. She authored 100 Things to Do in Ohio Before You Die, 100 Things to Do in Ohio’s Amish Country Before You Die, and co-authored Midwest Road Trip Adventures and Midwest State Park Adventures. Gleason is the chief writer for GleasonFamilyAdventure.com. She also founded the 1.1-million-member Ohio Road Trips Facebook group. The group’s success has spawned opportunities for her to speak at national travel conferences.
“The travel industry has given me and my family so much. I am happy to pay it forward by serving the Ohio Travel Association,” Gleason said.
